Aishah Mokhtar currently practicing as Project Architect in Kuala Lumpur, has been involved with numerous projects mostly addressing urban issues. Spatial design has been one of her major exploration and founded rekAA Studio that offers interior architecture service. Academic has always been her interest, been invited to several local university in Kuala Lumpur as external panel for the design studio.

Graduated with Distinction in Design and Technology from Oxford School of Architecture, her final thesis titled Women's Haven: Cultivating Moments of Paradise, has been nominated for several awards and featured in SuperArchitects and Koozarch. This has inspired her to work on her own research project, investigating gender studies and the urban city relation.
