Political issues between Turkish and Greek Cypriot overshadowed other current issues happening in Cyprus for example issues that involves women. The idea was to create a space for women (Cypriot, refugees, immigrant,travellers) to gather and benefit from each other knowledge and experience (craft,culture,education,emotional support for refugees). The representational approach used mostly using hand drawn sketches inspired by Peter Salter/Miralles/Nigel Peake works from the start. In terms of cultivating the moments, a lot of inspiration came from a film titled Women Without Men (2009) directed by Shirin Neshat. The works are still in process as the final submission will be in May 2014.
